Has anyone heard if spiker is going to build a kart/quarter midget track for this coming season? I heard rumors of this last year but have not heard anymore about it... Thanks

Why not? Great for the kids, future of racing... Big cars still race Saturday and kids race on Sundays on their own track. That was the rumor anyways.

The light poles are in the way. Don't think that would ever work. I know when I heard the rumor, it was going to be where all the equipment is parked at right now. Hence the giant pile of dirt there all last season.

Why would they have to build a new track? The current track is small enough for karts, they would just have to rework the track surface to accomadate karts.

They have ran go carts there before, it was probably 20-25 years ago and don't remember how often they did it or if it was just once but I know they have been ran there, it may have only been a practice even, can't remember for sure.
