A Trio of Western World Champions Aim for the 2013 Crown!

Kevin Montgomery, PEORIA, Ariz. (October 22nd, 2013) – Going on its 46th year, The Sands Chevrolet Western World Championships presented by the Racers Advantage Store, has been triumphed by some of the best open wheel racers in the country and in just a little less than a month, three former Western World winners will grace the Canyon Speedway clay for the 46th running of the Western World Championships.

2012 Western World Champion, Bryan Clauson, sets his sights on back to titles and is among the favorites coming into November. Clauson has dominated in Peoria with six victories on the year and will look to add a few more with this weekend’s Hall of Fame Classic before pulling double duty at the Western World as he will not only aim for the crown but will be one of many looking for the E&K of Phoenix bonus money.

Brady Bacon, who earned consecutive titles in 2009 and 2010, will also be looking for the extra E&K loot piloting the famed Wilke-Pac Midget and his own Sprint Car that carried him to back to back Western World wins.

Tracy Hines, who put a stop to the Bacon sizzle in 2011, will be aboard Bob Parkers USAC National Midget looking to add a Midget victory to his 2011 Western World triumph.

With $20,000 on the line the top USAC drivers from around America will congregate in the west at Peoria, Arizona’s Canyon Speedway Park for three nights of USAC National Midgets and USAC Southwest Sprint Cars vs. USAC West Coast Sprint Cars. A $7,500 winner’s share will be up for grabs in both Midget and Sprint Car competition as well as the E & K Construction $5,000 bonus for any driver able to win both the Midget and Sprint Car Titles.

Three-day advanced tickets are available for just $65, with VIP Suite tickets for all three days available for $95 and All Access Passes for $110.
Single day tickets are $20 for both Thursday and Friday and then $25 for the November 16th Western World Championships finale.
