The Demon Leads CRA To Battle Against USAC National Next Week!

Kevin Montgomery, PEORIA, Ariz. (October 14, 2013) – The “Demon” Damion Gardner will lead a stout Mark Alexander USAC-CRA team into battle next weekend at Peoria, Arizona’s Canyon Speedway alongside his teammate Nic Faas as the two drivers look to defend the West against the USAC National Intruders at the 2013 USAC Hose Advantage Hall of Fame Classic.

Gardner, who spent some time in the Hoosier State after leaving the West Coast, has become a national threat in the Sprint Car Ranks and since returning home has racked up five victories and currently leads the CRA standings. Together Faas and Gardner have captured almost half of the CRA outings with Faas scoring the most recent at Perris Auto Speedway, The home of the Oval Nationals the following weekend.

The USAC Hose Advantage Hall of Fame Classic will kick off next Wednesday as Steve Stroud and the Arizona Motorsports Hall Of Fame host the Hall of Fame Kick Off Party.

Open to the public, The Arizona Motorsports Hall of Fame will host the annual kickoff party starting at 6pm on Wednesday October 23rd prior to an open practice on Thursday night which is also open to race fans. Friday and Saturday, October 25 and 26, the Hose Advantage Hall of Fame Classic will feature the non-wing Sprint Cars of the USAC National 410 Sprint Car Series.

Indiana’s Dave Darland notched his 40th career USAC National Sprint Car win on the opening of last years Hose Advantage Hall of Fame Classic while Yuma’s Mike Martin pulled off an upset victory in the Saturday night finale.
