Hmm...didn't know Monaco & LeMans were in the US. Anyway:
1. Belleville 2. Williams Grove 3. Syracuse 4. Sandusky 5. Oswego Regarding one on several lists; Ventura is indeed a beautiful place, not so much for its setting on the Pacific Ocean (it can get cold and foggy there, fellas) as for the in-your-lap action on a well-groomed clay oval. Jimmy Naylor has become something of an artist on the grader and I'm proud to say that it was my home track for almost 30 years.

1. Gas City
2. Knoxville 3. Bell Clair 4. Ventura 5. Macon Would have Kokomo as #1 but ill be there this summer for smackdown. For you guys that have williams grove. Although the racetrack has as much if not more prestige than any other track in the country, racing quality is lacking what it was of 5-7 years ago. To see it is one thing, to enjoy a race is somewhat tough to come by these days. Needless to say, I don't regret sitting at home most friday nights. |

I have been lucky enough to have visited a few tracks in my time: for a list of tracks I have been to take a look at the following page http://www.roamingtheraceways.com/ov...ual.php?cid=32
Some tracks I would like to get to one day are:- 1) Belleville Highbanks 2) Devils Bowl, Texas 3) Oswego Speedway, NY 4) Syracuse, NY 5) too many to mention! They would have to go along way to beat the tracks in Indiana though, you have some of the best tracks in the world and non winged sprint car racing is just about as good as it gets. |
