Kercher was in the victory lane photo. I'm guessing he didn't build the rearend or the tires.
Claxton might have built it but Kercher fixed it.
That's a Stanton Mopar if you want to get real technical.
It's the last guy that freshened it and shows up in victory lane.
KERCHER!

People will more readily accept your ideas if you tell them Benjamin Franklin said it first! :thumb

So obviously you didn't see the Kerchers in in the group in victory lane getting their pics taken?
Claxton originally built the motor. The Kercher's re-did it.
Mr. Baldwin is now using Kercher Engines.

Great coverage of the race by XSAN, loved seeing a mystery race that turned out being Sprint Cars! Figured it would be something I had no interest but I was completely wrong.

Anybody know if Josh Spencer held on for a top 10? His heat race was stellar and thought he was driving just as well in the A when I watched him.

Appreciate it! Didn't think about the KISS sight. I checked the track page and didn't see it. Too bad the results are not indicative of the performance for Josh. I know a few times I didn't know where to look w/ good racing all over. Gonna be a good year!!

I thought Josh did an excellent job of racing at Kokomo its the best I've seen him do. Hopefully he grabs a couple A mains this year I think he has a shoot if he keeps his car running as good as last night

Thanks everybody, we had some gremlins on our first night out. When we hot lapped the car would not run in the corners so being in the second heat we had very little time to sort it out, after the heat Josh thought it was the barrell valve as the car shut off in the corners. Claxton to the rescue, seems our gauge was off, should have been set at 20 and it was at 40. After reseting the barrell valve we had forgot that we had to redue the idle so in the feature the car idled at 29 instead of 15. Silly stuff that can turn the night around real fast.

As always thanks goes out to the fans as they are beside us all the way, thank you Jeff Claxton and Jeff Walker both you guys have been a great help to Josh, both Jeffs go out of there way to help us.

And a huge thank you to the staff at the Kokomo Speedway for running the best show around great show and people on the road by 8:30.

A new gauge and another weekend to maybe drink some warm beer with Grant and Claxton.
