I am looking for a Newer 1000 Motor all stock. Which brand is the best? For HP, Torc and reliability. Who is good to buy from and I can trust what im getting is good? I have read some stuff saying that the newer GSXR1000s are puting out around 200HP is this true?

I agree with the above statement. Yamaha are pretty much the best all around motor you can get. Good power and reliability.

Here is my opinion based on racing these cars the last 8 years.

The R1 is the best all around for power and reliability. the GSXR is strong on power but not as reliable (mostly the newer ones with 8 injectors). The 2002-2005 Gsxrs are pretty good. The ZX10 is very fast, but blows out oil easier. Havent seen enough Hondas to have any idea about them.

All generally last well if you dont turn them over 14K and keep them under 240 degrees temp.

Run em on achohol with Rossen or Guhl injection and a GOOD radiator.

I know this response will be corrected by someone, but it is my observation of the last 8 years racing Lightning sprints.

So far for us racing the yamahas, the best one had been the 2010 motor on Engler Mechanical fuel injection. Horse power wasn't as much as the Suzuki but the amount of torque was mind blowing.
