Incredible... over fifty of the best of the best midgets plus a full non wing program for the sprint cars. And if you haven't been, Granite City is a very nice facility and track.

I think that list has to be wrong. I would say there will be between 30 and 35 cars Max. Way to Many POWRI regulars on that list. I still would not miss this event!

The pre-entry fee was $100 up to Sept 17th and $200 after Sept 17th

All the cars you see listed have payed at the $100/$200 fee. You will see over 50 cars the first two days.

I know some of the Powri cars are staying for Saturday. One would expect Felker and Anderson to leave for Belleville since they are 1-2 in POWRi points but the others that run well Thurs/Fri should stay.

You will notice no cars associated with Kenny Brown or the Siners are entered. That would interfere with their plan to take over national midget racing.

Clayton / Morgan motor issue has been resolved and it's ready to run this weekend. We lost a cylinder at the end of the B Main due to a mechanics error on my part. I did not have a spare rocker assembly and push rods with me at the track, but with the help of Dave Conn, of J&D Performance who builds my motor, he attempted a quick fix with the tools that we had access to to attempt to win the $10K. I am sorry that my error and equipment caused Daron a great opportunity to race to another $10k to win feature. Thanks to J&D Performance, the motor was repaired on Monday and sitting in my wing car for this weekend. I am keeping a promise that I had made before teaming up with Daron just before Sprint week this season. Daron has known from the start that I had made some race date committments with the wing car, and he totally understands and appreciates that I keep my word. I will be rooting for "The Modern Day Cowboy" and Don Moore at the Granite City races while I am at Farmington. Take it all boy's!! Cowboy and I will be back together at Terre Haute the following week, attempting for our second victory there in a row. again, Best of Luck in the #10.
