I really hate to hear that. I met Greg at Tri State Speedway many years ago. He and his family were some of the nicest people I ever met.

I am so sorry to hear this, Greg was such a good guy. As long as I can remember racing at Haubstadt, Greg was always racing something.
God Bless him and his family......

May God be with the Boyd family at this time, and at all times, from your Paragon Speedway family

Born and raised in Robinson, IL I can remember seeing Greg's sprint car in his driveway when I was a kiddo. As I grew up and moved away to Indy I occasionally bumped into Greg at USAC sprint week shows, anything running at Terre Haute or Bloomington. He loved sprinters in a region that was rich with late models.

RIP Greg!

Dang I hate to hear that. Spent many a night chatting with Greg in the pits at Haubstadt during and after the races.

Hello: I am Greg's younger brother Jeff.

I just wanted to thank everyone who has posted. People have been amazingly kind and thoughtful to the family throughout this.

We grew up at dirt tracks, going as far back as the 1950's when our father raced a 1932 Ford coupe with a flathead. I have been away from racing for many years, and regretably have not seen my nephew John race. Greg always kept after me to go with them. I always had good intentions to go, but never made it.
Greg, always loved racing, driving, working on them or attending races, it didn't matter. He loved everything about it, especially the friendships he made over the years. He was a indeed a good guy and a great brother, and he will be missed, especially by me.
I was not aware of this forum until he daughter posted a link to it.
I wanted to express our families thanks for all the kindness we have received.

Jeff
