So,at the halfway point of the first annual Winter Challenge event at Kevin Montgomery's newly revamped Canyon Speedway Park,the score stands like this:
Indiana-2
Jon Stanbrough-Saturday
Tracy Hines- Sunday
Arizona-1
Charles Davis Jr.-Friday
So,who's it gonna be Wednesday,Friday and Sunday? The California boys have yet to make their mark,led by Bud Kaeding (who told me his dad Brent would be in town for this weeks races) and Colby Copeland,who's already got a top 5! And Dave Darland told me he wasn't going to be able to return for this week! Add in the wild card of other teams coming to town,that weren't able to make it last week,and it's anyone's guess! One thing for sure,it's gonna be just as much fun and action as the first half! Also the weather gods have apparently gotten together with the racing gods,because the forecast is mid 70's during the week with a high of 80 for Saturday!!

He didn't say and I didn't ask! I just wished him luck in Florida and promised (threatened?) to catch up with him in Indiana this summer!

He had commitments that required him to come home. Shane Cottle will take over starting Wednesday

Kaeding has been the most consistent thus far. I could see him snagging on of these features!

Anyone have the results from Sunday, I didn't see them posted. Are they keeping points for the entire event. What do those look like. Thanks
