If you want to talk about a track in that area that is surrounded by city; why not bring up POWRi regular Belle-Clair Speedway? Since it opened to racing in 1948 it has been in the middle of a city.

Lost my favorite place in the world, Flemington Speedway in Jersey due to noise and dust. Honest to god it hurt and still does all these years later. Too bad, hope it ends ok. The sport we see as the best thing going, most people think it's just plain stupid, noisy and filthy. Problem is too many folks are too logical. I mean think about it. Racing around in a circle, over and over, dust, dirt and tons of noise. Its the stupidist thing going if you dont have a passion for it. I mean big deal, one guy can go around for 30 laps faster then the rest, big deal ! I mean from a logical thinking city folk it's gotta be just plain dumb, thank god I live in the sticks and dont have a logical bone in my body.

As the owner of the quitest (85 dba @100 feet) race track in the US (35 Raceway Park Frankfort, Ohio) I understand the delimia the Gundakers have the neighbors will never be happy, but then they cannot be the brightest bulbs as the video shows the train in which there are rail tank cars with hazmat products giong right thru the same neighbor hood, and the town is against the track? what city council person did not know that the track is like any bussiness and pays taxes to help keep the infrastructure alive in that town and employs people the Gundakers need to educate those towns people and give them an economic impact study to show what good the track is for the town, I have been thru the court system here in Ohio and prevailed if we can help please call 1-740-998-2278 thanks Tony Boetcher 35RP, Good Luck
