You will be able to watch on Knoxville LIVE complete coverage of the preliminary nights of the 360 Nationals, The USAC Non-Wing Nationals and the preliminary nights of the 410 Nationals.

Knoxville LIVE broadcasts live video from the track each weekly race night. The service is PPV. For more information check out:

Knoxville Raceway has said that they do not want Saturday night of the nationals to be televised because it is hurting their grand stand crowds the last few years

The TV or no Tv discussion has valid points on each side. There is certainly increased exposure to the sport by having it live on Speed. Which helps the sport. Unfortunately it comes at a cost. The cost of a live broadcast is huge and uncertain due to weather etc. Ticket sales seem to be another issue but it is hard to know yet if the long run exposure by being live helps or hurts the ticket sales. The appropriate balancing point seems to be pay per view. PPV on tv or the internet misses the channel surfer audience, which could open up new eyes to the sport, but it does provide the sprint car fan with access at a price to racing by the best sprint car racers in the world. I was impressed with the quality of the video stream last Saturday. I think the future of the big events will be online especially if the quality and reliability is there as knoxville has achieved is my opinion. I look forward to the Knoxville Non Wing Nationals. Although I won't be attending I will be watching and wishing I could experience the smell of methanol as well.
