Face it - the 'wing' defines the sprint car, so lets call it what it is. The 'real' or 'traditional' adjective is just plain silly. Sprint cars without wings are wingless or non-wing. Nobody outside this little racing circle will have any idea what you are talking about.

That being said - I prefer all racing to be wingless, especially on the pavement. Winged midgets and sprints on the pavement look stupid and the racing is a bit boring.
