a lot of equipment tra$hed chasing a $50k check. How much of that carnage would have been averted had that been a USAC vs Posse race (if the Posse raced wingless regularly) ? Hope we Posse race watchers eventually get a chance to see how nonwing 410's get around "the Clip."
...asked the same question on the Grove board (no response - surprise).

Wingless 410's that what's needed in PA. Buckwalter would be the man. I'm hoping USAC comes east again next year, maybe run lincoln or Susky.

Standing in the infield down by turn three. They were backing 'em in. Kerr and Pauch had'em covered, but Rahmer was coming fast. Too bad Fred doesn't take the wing off anymore. Those old modfied guys are tough.
