We have had a tough couple of years in our sport (Kenny, Erin, Cameron last year) and certainly none tougher than last weekend with Travis and the other young man that was injured (sorry, do not know his name and, if I missed anyone). 7 weeks ago on the same weekend, Coleman and JJ Yeley were both injured at Lakeside. Does anyone know how JJ is doing? We certainly all want to pass on our Best Wishes to him as well. Jack??

JJ is doing great. On 9-11-09, he had two vertebrae in his neck fused together. Doctors tell him that loss of head motion will be very minimal and that his neck will actually be stronger than before he broke it. He doesn't have to wear a neck collar, he can drive his street car, and has already began an exercise program to gain strength. He is looking forward to his first race since the accident - which will be the Chili Bowl. Thank you for asking. Jack & Judy Yeley

That's wonderful news! Thank you for the update. Continued prayers for a full and speedy recovery from the Clarke/Schroeder clans.

Thank you Mr. Yeley for the update, J. J. and your family have been in my prayers ever since the accident. Wish J. J. a full recovery and hope to see him back racing in the Phoenix area in 2010.
