Last weekend I was at a race...alot of cars got lapped by the leaders...there was a yellow and the 4th place car left the track with a flat and rejoined the field before the restart...because the fourth place car was on the lead lap before leaving for the tire and the rest of the field behind him was 1 lap down..his father convinced the track officials to put him back in fouth on that restart......I've always thought 'leave the track-go to the back...my question is 'What would your track /organization do'

I've seen it done both ways. It depends on your track's race procedures.

What's right? That's up for debate...
