A few quick notes and stats from Thursday night’s opener of the Oval Nationals at Perris Auto Speedway.

**Thursday night's race featured the most lead changes (5) in a USAC National Sprint Car feature race since the most recent series event at Perris Auto Speedway on Nov. 8, 2014.

**Robert Ballou has 11 USAC National Sprint Car feature wins in his historic 2015 campaign. That is the most since J.J. Yeley won 13 in 2003. Ballou joins an exclusive list of just 6 drivers who have won at least 11 USAC National Sprint Car races in a season: 11 wins: Bubby Jones (1979); 12 wins: Larry Dickson (1968) & Pancho Carter (1976); 13 wins: J.J. Yeley (2003) & 14 wins: Tom Bigelow (1977).

**Ballou won his 3rd consecutive USAC National Sprint Car race at Perris Auto Speedway.

**Ballou also became just the 25th driver to win at least 20 USAC National Sprint Car features during a career. He now sits just one win behind Greg Weld for 24th on the all-time wins list.

**Ballou set a new 30-lap track record for the USAC National Sprint Cars at Perris in Thursday night's feature, breaking the old 30-lap record set by himself just one year ago.

**Thursday night's feature marked the first time since the 2015 series season opener at Ocala, Florida that Ballou had the lead in the feature, lost the lead, and then regained the lead before going on to win the race.

**Ballou won his season-leading 11th USAC National Sprint Car feature of 2015 and has led 188 laps in the series this season, which ranks 1st.

**Jake Swanson, Josh Hodges and Mike Spencer each won their first USAC National Sprint Car heat race of the season. Ryan Bernal picked up his second heat win of the year in the series while Chase Stockon collected his 12th.

**Jon Stanbrough won his season-leading 4th semi of the year.

**Friday night’s action at the Oval Nationals can be watched LIVE on www.thecushion.com and can be purchased for $27.99 ($24.99 for Premium and VIP Members).

**Saturday night’s finale will be available for $32.99 ($28.99 Premium and VIP Members) at www.thecushion.com.
