Isn't Brady still leading the MSCS points? Why wouldn't he be at Putnamville for $4,000 to win. That sounds kind of crazy to me too. All of these drivers complaining about non-wing not paying money, lol
First of all the weather might determine where Brady races Friday.
Second, what most people may not know is Brady is currently tied with Kevin Briscoe, each with the most Bloomington Speedway track championships, 5. Brady is trying to obtain his 6th Bloomington Speedway track championship, this year. There have been numerous great sprint car drivers compete at Bloomington during the years, and no one has 6 track championships there. That would an outstanding record for Brady to obtain. After this Friday, July 3rd, Bloomington Speedway only has two points races left, so if Brady were to lose his point lead at Bloomington, he'd only have two races left to try and get it back, strange things happen, there's no guarantees.
So, this is why Brady plans on racing at Bloomington on Friday. To try to get a record that no one else has ever been able to get.
You are right, Brady currently leads MSCS points, and if he loses that point lead cause he misses the LPS race Friday, he'll still have 10 (ten) MSCS point races, I think, to try to regain the MSCS point lead back.
I hope this explains why Brady plans to race Bloomington Friday!
