I saw this on Facebook and also one posted on Trackforum:

"Hi all, 3 Time AMA Champ & 2 Time USAC Champ Joe Leonard. Hero from the
golden age of Indy ...Almost won in a Turbine !!

He had a stroke last year, and in a home . He need's some cheering up...
Send a Christmas card to.....

Mr. Joe Leonard
c/o Belmont Village of Sunnyvale

Sunnyvale, Ca. 94087"

I might also add he was a very solid wheelman in a sprint car too.

Get well Joe!!...My buds & I had the surprise pleasure a couple nites back in 80-90's of meeting Joe & his runing Buddy then, Evel Kneivel, when they stopped by our local Greek Rest. & watering hole "Creekside Inn",next to the Elks, in W.San Jose,Ca. for a few lessons in shaking Dice!!!!...for pops!!...and of coarse we had a good bench racin' session with both!!...as, at the time, we were 2 & 4 wheel racers ourselves!!!...many thanks to you Joe, you both made those nites Spl.!!.....
