$5000.00 ADDED TO 360, CLS & SENIOR SPRINT PURSE AT OVAL NATIONALS!

(Perris, CA, October 25, 2013) All Coast Construction announced on Friday morning that it is adding $5,000.00 to the purse for the 18th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals at Perris Auto Speedway on November 1st and 2nd. The additional money will go to the PAS Senior Sprints Cars, California Lightning Sprint Cars and 360 sprint cars that compete against the 410’s on the 1st and 2nd.

The news was revealed by All Coast Construction owner Mike Grosswendt on Friday morning while driving to Arizona with Loudpedal Productions Mike Truex and Dennis Rodriguez for this weekend’s “Hall of Fame Classic” at Canyon Speedway Park.”

“It is important to me that the Oval Nationals is a party for everyone,” Grosswendt said via phone on Friday morning. “D Rod (Rodriguez) came up with the breakdown on the purse.”

$3,000.00 of the extra money will go to the top four 360 finishing cars racing against the 410’s of the USAC National and CRA Series on Friday and Saturday nights ($1,500.00 per night). Each night the highest finishing 360 will get $750.00, second will receive $350.00, third will pocket $250.00 and fourth will take home $150.00. The money will pay back into the B or C Mains if necessary (if four 360 cars do not make the A mains).

The Senior Sprint Cars and the California Lightning Sprint Cars will receive an added $1,000.00 to their respective main events on Saturday night. The money will be paid to the top three finishers with the winner getting a $500.00 bonus, 2nd will earn an extra $300.00 and third will take home an additional $200.00.

“Big Mike steps up to the plate again,” Perris promoter Don Kazarian said. “Mike does this for one reason only and that is his love for sprint car racing. He has such a burning passion for the sport. We are lucky to have him.”

Camping for all events at The PAS is available for $25.00 per night. The campground will open at noon on Friday. Tailgating in the spectator parking lot will begin at 1:00 PM for all PAS events as well.

There are separate divisions for the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars and the Amsoil OilTwins.com PASSCAR classes of the LoanMart Street Stocks, Pick-A-Part American Factory Stocks and the Modifieds. Players can compete in as many divisions as they like. The winner of the USAC/CRA game will win a 20-lap ($240.00 value) driving session on the famous PAS half-mile clay oval courtesy of the Sprint Car Driving Experience. The winner of the Modified group will take receive a $50.00 gift certificate for Amsoil products from The Oil Twins. More prizes will be announced as they come in.

Perris Auto Speedway is located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of October’s Southern California Fair), approximately one hour east of Los Angeles and one hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, exit on the Ramona Expressway and go three miles east to the fairgrounds.
