The list of drivers for Thursday's race at the fairgrounds includes Clauson in the #6 car, This is just like the old times with a star of the 500 racing on the dirt before the big race. This reminds me of Jimmy Wilson's adventures in The Best of Times, Dave Argabright's fiction, in the Sprint Car & Midget publication. Go BC!
Wouldn't it be great if the race was broadcast before the 500 ?
After awhile you need a break from the interviews and such. Not only would it be good to see but could be used to show how the two sports were once closely related and how most Indy fans still associate with dirtcars.

Nice sentiment but I would say very few Indy fans are dirt car fans. Folks on here obviously associate with dirt tracks but of the 250,000 in attendance only a small minority likely frequent dirt tracks. Wish it were different but times have changed.
