stopped by the track today and the promotor was working
on the track. the banking was cut down as someone stated earlier and you can actually see a bunch of the wall now. no work done on bleachers so far but the track is first priority before the weather turns bad. also saw the collins family there checking things out. still wondering if the rumors are true about them going to help run twin cities...

Already saw they're planning on UMP Late Models, mods, super stocks, pure stocks and hornets.

Definitely the track comes first. You give a good surface and the racers will come. Once you get the racers buy in then the fans will follow and the money you make can be put back into the track for the various necessary improvements. This is what Gas City did.

yeah but Gas City had a fence that you didnt have to worry as much about a car coming through. Fix the fence!!!

Gas City also gets by with a whole lot less catch fence.

Cut the size of the track down a little bit, 3/8 mile is a little big for Sat night racers, move the pit road to out behind the grandstands move the pits back a little from the track give the cars a little run off room and things would probably work out real well and you would spend a lot less on fence.

Right now it is a great track for World of Outlaws racers and Moon launches.
