The running time was severely curtailed by the weather. Kyle's top lap was for sure with a tow. That being said I am of the opinion it is best running in traffic and from what I saw he did quite a bit of that. It's the air coming off the front of the car mid turn that you really have to be aware of. These cars have difficulty running within twelve feet of each other as the downforce on the front is very small. It's not a good car for racing honestly. Kyle made reference to the machine behaving much like the current NASCAR sled.

That is an average speed for a lap! See below.
"With a four-lap average of 233.947 MPH, Rosenqvist turned in the third-best qualifying performance in Indy 500 history, beating out Alexander Rossi, who averaged 233.528 MPH.
It's a draft. Either way, he was still wheeling it and anyone else coulda got the same benefit from another car at anytime too. But yes, it will be great to also see what single car speed he has too (lets hope for Q speed in the top 3 rows...but the field is SO competitive these days; I'd think he could win from anywhere...).
Won the pole at Texas this morning for the Cup race!!! (warning to those that consider nascar off-topic...a 1/4 of the drivers have open wheel roots and many still dip their toe in the sc&m world, so I would like to think its ok...lol)
