Hoosier Speed, Tulsa Bound
-December 26th, 2016 The Hoosier Speed Team, owned by Andy and Scott Bradley are loading up and heading West for the 2017 Tulsa Shootout. On December 27th through January 1st, the Bloomington, IN based race team will be running in the 1200cc Winged and Non Winged divisions looking to add to their Golden Driller collection. Not only does the team bring raw speed to Tulsa, they brought a star studded lineup as well. Chase Briscoe, the Mitchell, IN native and 2016 ARCA Racing Series Champion will be piloting the 1x machine for Hoosier Speed attempting to defend his Golden Driller winning performance of 2016 in both 1200cc Winged and Non Winged divisions. Briscoe remains undefeated in the Hoosier Speed, Scott Bradley owned 1x, with 4 feature wins total in the past few years. Chase is also the youngest driver to ever win a feature race in a 410 sprint car, breaking Jeff Gordon's record at the age of 13. Christopher Bell from Norman, OK will be piloting the #86 Hoosier Speed machine. Bell, coming off of an outstanding 3rd place points finish in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series standings, has made quite the name for himself in the racing world in the past few years. In 2013, he won the USAC National Midget Championship. In 2014, he was the BMARA Midget Champion and Belleville National Midget Champion. He also won the 2015 Mudsummer Classic at Eldora in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Andy Bradley from Bloomington, IN will be piloting the #11 for Hoosier Speed in this year's Shootout. Bradley is a 2x MMSA Champion in the 1000cc division. Other notable drivers representing Hoosier Speed are: Justin Lewis #77 Alex Shipman #4 This also marks the 2nd time that Briscoe and Bell are teammates at Hoosier Speed, the first time they went 1 and 2 at the "Battle at the Center" at DuQuoin, IL in February 2015. The Hoosier Speed Team will be looking to take home the hardware from the 2017 Tulsa Shootout and certainly has the tools to do it.
