I've never been to the Indy 500...

My mother went once. I'm guessing it was around 1947-1952 if that
was possible and she said it was boring. She said every once in a while
a car would come by...lol?

She much better like the midget races in Chicago about the same time
frame. She said Dad and her went every week.

She said it was neat because you got to know the cars and could
cheer them on.

Same here, I keep saying I'm gonna go.....maybe this year is the one to hit.

I went to the last two F1 races there and they were awesome.
