Heard today that Darren Hagen was going to drive the #9 Toyota Midget next year. Has anyone else heard this?

I know many changes have taken place with those cars over the years but they sure ain't what they use to be.

Sort of makes me wonder how much influence Bob East had on the Lewis deal. Seems like "Bob's cars" are the class of the field, more often than not. You'd almost have to call Terry Klatt's cars the Beast House Cars now, and generally speaking, they're fast no matter where we go, or who's driving them.

What I understand is that Dave and Davey are both out and that Hagen will drive the #9 and Kody Swanson will drive the #91.

Classic case of using the "Vets" to shake the car down and get it going in the right direction then slap in the young development drivers and throw away the Vets who are still at the top of their game, just "old".

Dave deserves a top notch ride in whatever he wants to drive! Wish him the best in finding some new cars, hopefully they are better than those Toys... They never really impressed me

I didn't want to be negative but i would like to see those "9 cars" sitting at the bottom of a lake someplace. Sorry if i offended anyone. :action-smiley-049:

TuRD :emote20:

Whether or not he's booted, Dave will be able to find a top notch ride. What car owner wouldn't want him?
