14TH ANNUAL BUDWEISER OVAL NATIONALS LAPS FOR SALE!

(MARCH 15, 2009, PERRIS, CA) Perris Auto Speedway is selling laps for $100.00 each for the 14th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals on November 5, 6 and 7.

All of the money collected will go to the top three drivers of every lap. The leader will pocket $50.00, the driver in second will get $30.00 and the third place runner will receive $20.00. With seven months until the race, hope is that more than 40 lap donors will participate. Any extra laps sold will pay $100.00 to the leader, $60.00 to second and $40.00 third or there will be a “Super Lap“ somewhere in the middle of the race. Contributors can purchase as many laps as they wish. The first lap for the event was purchased by Steve Howard of So-Cal Performance.

All donors, whether they own a business or they are purchasing as an individual, will have their name listed in the Oval Nationals program, read over the PAS sound system and circulated in a pre-race press release (s).

Perris Auto Speedway is on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of the Southern California Fair), approximately one hour east of Los Angeles and one hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, exit on the Ramona Expressway and go two miles east to the fairgrounds.

Here's a thought. Once Saturday nights 40 laps are sold out, why don't you put the extra $100.00 laps to the features on Thursday & Friday? Since all the mid-west car owners piss & moan about the first two nights payouts that could go a long way to apease them.

Thats a great Idea!!...How bout add'n it to Thurs/Fri shows in a seperate pot,like xtra for tow money!!...anybody can donate as little/much as they like!...ta show owners how much we appreciate their efforts!!.. for us fans!!..I'll be in that one for sure!!.......
