Wanted to get this race on your radar early this week as there's something going on in Indy mid-week that will take all of the air out of the room and grab everyone's attention for a few days. When you wake up Friday after the BC39, don't forget about making a trip to the Land of Lincoln for one of our bigger events here at Jacksonville Speedway.
It's the Herb Barlow Memorial featuring a MOWA Sprint/POWRi Midget double-header. It always seems to be a great night of racing with a great story to tell afterwards. Free Camping/Hookups are available for those of you wishing to make a weekend out of it and hit Spoon River for the Tom Knowles the following night. Questions? Text me at 217-371-3653 |

I know everyone's attention rightfully elsewhere tonight... but if you spend a moment thinking about what you are doing Friday... include Jacksonville in that moment's thought. No sense in not watching more midget action this weekend.

No worries been my plan the whole time. Going to a race on the way home from a race. Your place can offer just as much excitement as we just got. I'm in.

Running order tonight: Sprints/Micros/Midgets/Pro Lates/Modifieds
As you know we typically run our sprints/midgets as the first two classes, but have a few double duty sprint/midget people tonight and think it will be quicker to just roll right into micros instead of wait for several driver changes. Car count looks like we might have B-Mains for Sprints/Midgets so we are going to have to roll to beat our curfew. Goal is to have the midget feature finished by 10:15 - which is about 30 mins later than we would typically plan. Hopefully things roll a little quicker than that. For those of you that can't make it, all classes are on SpeedShift.tv instead of our normal YouTube channel.

That plan of 10:15 sure didn't work out. Poorly planned and poorly executed. Sorry to those of you getting home so late. Had way more cars than we expected. Was trying to fit classes in that were rained out the first half of the year. I know better than that. Hope you give us a shot at our 2 day POWRI/MOWA show in October. Safe travels home.
