I just saw this article posted on Speed Sport and it made me think......what does the USAC sprint car champion and or team get paid to win the sprint car national championship. 20 All Star Circuit of Champions full time point chasers going after $50,000 is very impressive. Thanks for any information.

BROWNSBURG, Ind. – The Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 will be led by 20 full-time travelers this year, each chasing the $50,000 top prize that will be awarded at the end of the near-nine month journey that includes 49 full-point events across eight states.

All full-time drivers will be eligible for membership benefits, which includes the season-ending championship point fund. The top-15 member teams will receive their earned share of the championship fund so long as competitors enter at least 80% of the completed events and do not participate in any non-All Star events that occur on the same dates as All Star events.

Sadly it is not even comparable. In fact it is minuscule for what these the owners spend & the drivers risk for a season. Now keep in mind what kind of revenue USUC generates with all the series that they sanction. VERY disappointing.

The ASCoC went from $130,000 point fund in 2017 to a $200,000 point fund in 2018. It is a huge jump in this era and one to be commended. With sponsors flocking to the series from Tony’s connections, I wasn’t totally surprised. It’s great for the sport, and the amount of talent signing up to run with the series full-time shows that it’s having an impact.

USAC’s information indicates that their Sprint Car point fund was $105,000 in 2017 and was reported at approximately $130,000 for 2018. That’s also a big step up and a good sign for short track racing. It looks like there’s a healthy following of USAC Sprint Cars, as well.

I ask out of ignorance, what kind of revenue is USAC generating?

Is All Stars insurance as compatible as USAC's? You could win a million and it' be gone without a good insurance policy if you got bent up pretty good.

What would those numbers be now? Do you have an idea who makes what, currently? Or is that something you can find somewhere...?
