Non-Wing Sprint Cars make their way back to the historical Imperial Valley Raceway (aka El Centro- Imperial, Ca.)

On October 21-22, 2022; The Heritage Racing Series welcomes the Southern California Non-Wing Sprint Cars to their ¼ mile, clay venue. The track has gone through some configurations since the first race in 1930. The most recent Sprint Car Race ran in 2004 on the ¼ mile. We look forward to bringing this historical venue back to the racers and Sprint Cars back to the fans during the Fall Classic. This race will lead us into preparation for the return to Saturday Night racing during the Mid-Winter Fair in March 2023.

Pit gates open at 1:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Camping is available in the pits.
Friday Night pit pass/entry: $20.00 and will host 2 practice sessions, and the top 4 cars overall will advance to the 6-lap Dash for Cash and a chance to win $500.00 courtesy of Keys Bros. Racing.
Saturday Night pit pass/entry: $40.00 will start with Engine Heat @ 5:00 p.m. Heat Races, with draw for the 30-lap main event with $1,500 to win, $200 start, and $100 non-transfer.

Each night the Sprint Cars will run with 2 additional classes; on Saturday night the Imperial Valley Raceway, Heritage Racing Series, and The Wingate Company will be having a racer/fan appreciation party after the races with live music.

The Open Competition Series is open to any traditional Non-Wing Sprint Car (305/360/410).
No Gasoline and Up to Date Safety Equipment will be enforced.
