Mrs. Darland was broadcasting live on Facebook during the midget and sprint car A-mains and by the time the sprint car A-main pushed off the temp. was 37° and the track was like racing on ice. There were over 100 cars in the pit area and it looked as if the temp. and the number of cars took it's toll on the racing surface. They reduced the number of laps to 20 from 25 for the sprint car A-main after there was 8 cautions within the first 3 or 4 laps. She said during her broadcast that they ran the show very efficiently without any breaks or intermissions, it was just a case where there was a lot of cars, thus a lot of racing which ran the whole show very late. The sprint A-main was pretty good from 2nd on back but Andretti had 'em covered.

The temp. isn't forecast to be much better tonight with a low of 41°. Not sure if Mrs. Darland will be doing live video tonight but if I was to guess I would say she probably will.

Hopefully things go well tonight and it isn't as late as last night. Not a bad looking track facility judging by what we saw on Mrs. Darland's live video. It's good to see wingless sprint cars in that part of the country.
