[/IMG]I am thinking about selling my Sonny Beck/ Paul Mead sprint car. This car was built in 1958 by Sonny Beck and raced AARC in 1958 in 1959 it raced USAC until 1969. It raced both midwest and some eastern tracks during its life. There were around 15 Indy car drivers that drove the car. The car is original except for the front nose/ grill and the tail. This car raced with all the greats during this time period from Tommy Hinnershitz, Johnny Thompson to AJ Foyt, PJ Jones, Mario Andretti, Jim Hurtubise and the rest. In 1965 while owned by Paul Mead it was crew chiefed by Glen Niebel (His first race car) and sponsored by Don Sebert Olds (His first sprint car) This is a very historic sprint car with lots of history and it still has a Glen Niebel engine that I was told was the 1965 engine that Don Sebert owned when he sponsored the car. I have tons of history, pictures and more info. Looking for a home in Indiana or Dayton Ohio. If interested please send me email bobboop1@yahoo.com
Sorry I had the wrong email address, if interested please contact me at this address as it has been corrected. Note: This car has been restored but is 90% + original. The nose and grill are copies from the Culp Offy in the Allen town museum.
