I was there doing my part, and glad I went; epic sliders, amazing speed, tightrope cushion dancing. Pickens didn't just jump the cushion, he went over the berm into no-man's land but managed miraculously to keep the forward drive going and only lost the one spot to Hagen.
Another miracle was that KT's crew even got his ride back together, then he wheeled it from the back to the front in the "B" and almost did it again in the feature.
The Kiwis in attendance would have labeled the evening "stillah!" (translated to English: "stellar!")
