wilber shaw born in shelbyville indiana. The first winner of indy 500 to win back to back races.He started 13 races with 3 wins and 8 top tens and 5 break downs.he started on the front row 5 times. He was one alsome driver. He also help keep the track alive the former owner Rickenbacker was going to turn track into housing subdivision.And wilber work to get Tony Hulman buy the speedway .
