We've got the cars, now let's get the people in the grandstands! We have 4 friends who are first time Springfield attendees coming in from out of state. I believe they picked the perfect year to lose their Springfield Mile virginity!

We attended 3 nights of ISW and was amazed at the size of the crowds and just a few weeks ago Fairbury American Legion Speedway stopped selling GA tickets because they were completely full for a dirt late model race. Given what we saw at those events we know the race fans are out there and are willing to travel to see top notch racing and considering how great last years' Springfield race was we know these cars and drivers are more than capable of putting on an action packed and exciting race the whole 100 miles. Sure would love to see the owners, drivers, promoter and especially Andy (who got this ball rolling in the right direction), Levi, Spridge and their staff, who have all worked doggedly to restore the luster of USAC's premier division, rewarded with a substantial increase in race attendance! All of them deserve it!
