The crowd looked better than the last several years. I’m sure the great racing last October had something to do with it and the promoter should take note. However it was the windiest day I can ever remember for this race and I don’t think any amount of water would have made a difference. It also helped to have USAC midgets nearby Friday and Saturday night. We went to Macon after and it was quite the contrast to the mile but awesome to see both in one day.
