I have to blame the tire supplier. How is it that the late model guys can go a hundred laps and the track slicks off but never gets the one lane rubber groove that sprint cars get? Perfect example, the World 100. They race from top to bottom, on lap 1 and lap 100. A sprint car race you’re crossing fingers and saying prayers that the checkers fall before it turns into 1 groove. This scenario needs to end. Almost as bad as fuel stops
