I agree with it being a quick run show. Not wasting time with single car time trials is a big reason for that and a major positive. Group quals in hot laps saves time, tires, fuel, and the track. While track conditions are never an issue at TSS this simple change in procedure would make the program so much more efficient, and it saves the other tracks that can’t tend to conditions the same way. Who cares how good a car is when on track by himself. I so enjoy this event because of the format. So wish we could do away with TT. Motor heat started at 6pm and qualifying for 34 cars was over by 6:35. Efficient and cost effective. I drove 12 hrs for this wknd so the efficient non TT format is a win for me. I so wish USAC would open their eyes to this. Congrats to the winners both nites and ready for the 3 car drive for a championship. Good luck to all.
