Wow, your post sure brings back memories for me. You even remember Arfons’ jet powered tractor, our first event as promoters.
But, since those days so much has changed in the racing and entertainment world. Cost of racing, age of fans, televised local races, insurance, adverting costs, etc. I believe promoting a weekly track may be a thing of the past. Time will tell.
BTW. The city has a strong desire to keep the track operational.
