Only if Buddy qualifies in the top-6, he gets points.
If Buddy qualifies 7th & Windom 8th, then neither get points and it's still 47 points between the two going into the feature.
In that scenario, if Windom won and Buddy finished 20th or worse, they would be tied in points. But Windom would win the championship via the tiebreaker for most feature wins this season.
In other words, wait until qualifying is finished up.
