Not a fan of how they run this show. Winged hot laps and time trials before the USAC cars see the track. Track prep not great unless it rains right before like last year. Track was scary fast thanks to mother nature. Slick conditions and quiet mufflers tame it down too much for me. Oskaloosa is way better than Knoxville. I’ll still go as I’m only 2-1/2 hours away and if Bacon breaks down or something it will be a good race.
