It's looking unlikely that the casino would end up there. Just last week, when they were doing the grand opening for a new hotel off the other Terre Haute exit (exit 12), local developer Greg Gibson said that was where the casino should be. And he heads up the group that will more like than not, end up with the gaming license. Plus, they just picked the property right behind the mall as the location for the new Vigo County jail. So, that area is getting ready to be even more congested than it already is.
