2018 KELSEY CHEVROLET SPRINT CHAMPION TO BE DECIDED SATURDAY

Garrett Abrams and Dickie Gaines will compete in the final point race of the season on Saturday, September 15th and at the end of the night, one will be crowned champion.

Abrams holds a 105-point advantage over Gaines heading into the finale and needs a feature finish of 12th or better to clinch his first track championship. Abrams has finished 8th or better in each of the ten features this season and has seven top-five finishes, including two feature wins.

Gaines, the 2003 Lawrenceburg Speedway Champion, won the King of the Midwest Sprints race back in May and has another six top-five feature finishes in nine starts.

Cordell Moore has already locked up the Bessler's U Pull & Save Hornet Championship after winning four of the ten features. Moore has finished in the top-five every feature except for opening night when he broke while leading with two laps to go.

Kyle Schornick will become the Budweiser UMP Modified Champion when he signs in to compete Saturday afternoon. Schornick has run very well all season and in fourteen feature starts he has a pair of wins, a pair of runner-up finishes, and a pair of third place finishes plus another six top-ten finishes.

Don Grace will look to become a three-time Lawrenceburg Speedway Champion with a finish of 18th or better in the Impact Sports Pure Stocks. Grace has two wins this season and eight top-five finishes in nine starts.
