I believe that getting rid of the pavement might help, but only due to cost. I think one of the best ideas is to get a famous past driver (Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse, Ryan Newman, etc.) to drive a race or two or even just be there to sign autographs and tha will attract fans back. There is at least 100 cars laying around that could be run up to standards, for example the Foxco #56 is something like 15 years old and still runs with the best of them. Believe it or not there is a lot of cars and motors and they can bought reasonable enough that guys can go racing on dirt very reasonable. Also, there is a ton of tracks that could be great places to run-Paducah, Syracuse, Sacramento, Las Vegas, the dirt track at Charlotte, etc. I think there is a positive way to look at the series if promoters, fans, car owners, and drivers would just give it a chance! - Greg Hardy of Hardy Boys Motorsports #114
