I hope everyone is able to support the Silver Crown cars in the years ahead. That being said, the series is in trouble not because of fans or promoters, but because USAC has made some questionable decisions that have lowered car counts. When car counts go down, everything goes down with it -- fans and interest. When car counts are up, fans will support the races.

I just came back from a race about 2 weeks ago that had over 140+ cars entered, along with over 700+ drivers. The series first race was in 2009. Car counts = people = money.

I don't want to be a cynic or anything, but I'm still waiting for USAC to try to explain to me why I should invest $$ to convert my cars to ethanol. I'm still waiting. The last time USAC reached out to me was when Greg Staab and Rollie were still part of USAC. I haven't heard from them in over 3 years. Talk about salesmanship and marketing. Not! LOL! Any sponsor that thinks they will get some promotion of their product from USAC is sadly misinformed.
