Dang! Gave me chills! I read somewhere that whatever Andy Grannatelli did to the engines quieted them down some. I remember Art Malone running one of them in practice back in the 60's. I was probably only 12 or 13, but I recall loving the sound it made.

Maybe Ed Pink will get one going for the 100th next year. I doubt they'd run it at much RPM but it would be great to hear that sound again. Thanks for the post!
