Re: McIntosh

To some people their facebook photos are a flaunt that reflects poorly on USAC. And I'm sure there are plenty who disagree.

Re: USAC Respect/Rules

In a word, most of us expect a reasonable amount of transparency and fairness when it comes to alleged favoritism and failure to enforce rules. This is where USAC seems challenged. It tried on the...

Re: Tri-State Speedway surface

Corporate greed is a euphemism for I don't understand capitalism or free markets. [Capitalism, by the way, is what gave us the highest standard of living in the history of planet earth. People are...

Looking for photo

A couple years ago there was a photo posted on here iirc of a Viceroy sprint car. I believe it was a recent shot of the car running on a California track. I thought I saved it but cannot find it....

All other things being equal, inflation causes record profit year after year after year.

Re: Tri-State Speedway surface

Not to forget the rising cost of everything else. The value of my house in Arizona went up 29% in the last 12 mo. That translates into higher rents. There are a growing number of people out there who...

Re: Lawrenceburg Speedway May 30th World of Outlaws!

I apologize for not expressing myself more clearly. I was at Terre Haute on the 22nd and that is as good of a race as I have ever seen there. But when the wings come to town [Lburg} there are the...

Re: Lawrenceburg Speedway May 30th World of Outlaws!

I must ask, is there anything USAC could ever do to put on a show like that? Or is that [butt.ugly] wing always going to separate the men from the boys?

Re: Dirt Tracks Need to Stop Blaming...

I seem to recall a midweek MSCS race some years back where 13 cars showed up. Smoke pulled out a Jones backup car and drove around in last place to make it 14 cars.

Re: Scott Ronk mad at live stream

The promoters agreed to or caused everything that happened that weekend except the weather. Don't try to act like a freaking victim. They should have been out there on the front stretch thanking the...

Re: Usac: Rifles up! Ballou becomes the fourth 3-time hulman

Not to mention Robert blowing a tire in the heat and passing 3 cars in 3 laps to make the cut.

Re: Grading off the cushion, Thoughts?

Why not let it run as the night goes on. To me it's what makes sprint car racing exciting If you can hit it right several laps in a row, you can move forward many positions.

I saw Darland do that...

Re: What's your take on this Robert Ballou rant?

No cooler rule is going to keep me from traveling to a race. $5 to park won't either. There are plenty of drinkers in the parking lot when they don't like the cost of beer inside.

Re: What's your take on this Robert Ballou rant?

FLO is not the determining factor on whether I go to the track or not. It is nice to have but it does not match a live race experience.
