I only mentioned it because they are the fastest growing class in Australia, v6 non-wing sprints... 3.1 liters I believe. The engines you mentioned are race breed specialty pieces, these are GM...

Maybe instead of changing the specs on the engines per se, why not allow an alternative engine package like a low comp V6? Then add weight to the "Hot" 4 banger cars as needed... Just spit balling.
