Re: Lawrenceburg ISW Updates

I live about 20 minutes from both LPS and Terre Haute, and love coming over to the burg for USAC and the bigger MSCS shows. I love reading the debates on IOW about who has the best track prep...

If I recall they parted ways with long time track prep crew after last year. If this is true they should be pleading for them to return.

This track is absolute junk tonight. Has it been like this all season or is this just a bad night? Regardless you have to do better on the biggest night of the year!

Rules Question

The new rule that you have to transfer through the heats to keep your top 6 qualifying spot is bs. If this is the case then they should only invert 4 instead of 6 especially when group qualifying. ...

TSS the cars I seen walking outside the pit fence: fitzpatrick, short, bland, stanbrough, gross, hendrick, cummins, Stockton, Clayton apparently 27 cars from a different thread.

Who is at lps and...

Mike King publically apologized to the nice crowd for not having the track ready. Did not get any afternoon rain, and even though I think the track looks good, usac says it's still a lttle wet.

Maybe if car owners were better salesmen to bring sponsors in, and usac covered more of the country...but mostly car owners need to sell better. Everytime I used to go Kroger, I would think of...

Re: Would fans be willing to pay more for USAC Sprints if?

I guess I need to give props to USAC because the purse at the top especially is better than I thought. However, the fact remains, that I want to see higher payouts to help get 1.) Higher Count of...

Re: Would fans be willing to pay more for USAC Sprints if?

This is why I said $25-$30. $30 for Terre Haute, and $28 for reserved at Tri-State. I just always hear talk of how bad the payouts are so I tried to start a constructive thread discussing payouts...

Re: Would fans be willing to pay more for USAC Sprints if?

If someone has the breakdown of the USAC purse, please post it, I would love to look at it. I thought that most standard USAC Sprint shows paid $4k to win.

Would fans be willing to pay more for USAC Sprints if?

the purse looked like this? I think I would be willing to pay $25-$30 per race if I knew it was going to the drivers/teams/owners. If the average crowd at a USAC sprint show was 3,000 people and...

Don't get me wrong. I am for paying drivers more across the board. I really like that Lawrenceburg puts their money where their mouth is and has increased their weekly payouts, but there is still...

Re: Putnamville May 15 $2000 to win Sprint Cars...

This is a dumb Saturday to pay extra. A lot of cars will be at Terre Haute for the MSCS show. They should have had the higher money on Indy Pole Day, May 22 when there is only a USAC midget show in...

Re: Terre Haute Action Track

I am happy and glad that Terre Haute is open for 4 races. The problem with Terre Haute has more to do with sanctioning bodies. The ASCOC last year was a joke and ended horrifically. The MSCS shows...
