As for this particular choice regarding these particular rules... I see at least 2 that don't apply here... if you show up at a WAR show with unsafe wing mounts IK for sure they make you remove all...

I see Caseys decision as being spot on for a blue collar series.....Or any series that only survives when owners can field cars and healthy talented drivers are available 2 gas em up....

The market has been ready for this for a handfull of seasons. Now that it is happening it sure looks likes it is being done in a best case scenario.

Shouldn't negatively affect the almighty 410...

As much as I hate wings on dirt cars, I think they have done wonders for the state of pavement racing. When the tire and springs are your only source...

I am still amazed that some track or startup series hasn't jumped into some regular PA wingless racing in the last few years.

With all the weekly winged 410 tracks, the other few weekly tracks...

take away any lift tendencies that may result..just looking at whats available mechanically in a current SC pavement car.. how fast would they actually go on that track?

I would love to see the rules tweaked for the 500..or every oval, to allow any IRL car from the last 3-4 rule packages to run with any naturally aspirated pushrod v-8 or DOHC 166ci turbo 4cylinder.

Somebody thats already familiar with the gains in shock tech the last 10 years can read the Steve Smith sprintcar book and watch the 20 year old video Jimmy Sills did that compliments the book and...

To chime in on your question... in your application most wing car chassis will more than get the job done for you.. especially if you avoid one type and change a couple components..

I used to fight the exact same problem with my arm restraints... guys always cinch their belts under yellow but rarely under green...I was relocating and cinching my arm restraints every 2-3 laps...

Just like with helmets, firesuits and seatbelts... there is no "Best" or "Worst"... proper installation and perfect fit are way more crucial to protecting yourself than brand name or price. A $275...

Theres a slight difference when the guy who runs the show is the guy who used to stomp all our peepees in the dirt every time he got in one of those Hockett cars... hahaha

Maybe a smaller scale as...
