Re: WoO

If you get Haubstadt up in Google map you can see the track at the school and the race track at the same time. School tracks are usually 400 meters or 440 yards or a quarter mile, usually have a...

Re: WoO

Does anyone actually know what the size of Haubstadt is? It has always looked smaller than a 1/4 mile to me.

Re: IMS Sold to Penske

If the Speedway was to be sold, there probably is not a better buyer than Roger Penske.

I think F1 coming back to Indy will fly.

I think the Indy500 is almost bigger than any person or...

They sold out Nashville every year, that would be a great track to return to.

Re: Is Courtney the Schatz of USAC

The guy is a stand out racer. Presents himself well in a winning situation. Hopefully he gets a shot at the speedway some day if he desires that.

My roku didn't work, finally came back on with Chrome end of the second heat. Had to reset several times.

Re: An Open Letter To Promoters and PA Announcers

Amen ISF. Screaming and old heavy metal music seem to be synonymous with some announcers. Remember the days of Gary Gerould, Jack Miller, Gary Lee, Kirk Elliott. They actually said something and you...

Re: The Knoxville Nationals

I've been going since the sixties. It isn't the event I remember then, but still a big event. It used to be so interesting when you would only read about drivers in the Speed Sport. Then the...

Re: Flo Path Valley Stream

I don't have any idea what they use for back haul, but if they don't have reliable speed with proper buffer controls, customer quality will be compromised.

Re: One Wish

Re: Indiana Sprint Heat

Cooling towels really work. I use them mowing. Wet them, wring them out and wear them on your neck. Usually last a couple hours or so.

Re: USAC screws paid Floracing fan

Thank You Kirk for the explanation. I think unless a person has been to Knoxville you can't appreciate how big the main grandstand is. I think on TV based on camera location you only see the bottom...

Re: USAC screws paid Floracing fan

I think you are possibly missing the point by some on this board/thread, the complaint is NOT with the race, the racing, the competitors, the event, location. No problem at all.
Actually most of the...

I find it hard to believe Knoxville wouldn't allow...
